The property encompasses 30 hectares of fine forest and a smaller cabin, named Hansen’s cabin (after M Th Hansen, read more).

Hansen’s cabin
The standalone Hansen’s cabin is suitable for parties of six people. The cabin is situated some distance away from the facility (300 metres) and can be rented separately. Hansen’s cabin has its own kitchen, living room, two bedrooms – one with two beds and one with four beds, a bathroom with a shower, and a fireplace. If you rent the main building with the annex, as well as Hansen’s cabin, you have a total of 38 beds available.
The sauna is located directly adjacent to the lake. The sauna has changing rooms and showers.
Two major permanent grills and permanent outdoor furniture-sets are also available at the facility. You have to bring your own coal for the grills, though. A volleyball court, a bathing platform, and walking trails are also available.
There is also opportunity for fishing in the nearby lake.
There is a TV available at Lillsjödal, but no sound system. Fiber was installed in 2019 but only in the main building and not at Hansen’s cabin since it is situated a bit off. Everyday china for 40 people can be found in the main building’s kitchen, as can two stoves, a dishwasher of catering model, and refrigerator/freezer. You have access to cleaning equipment, blankets, and pillows, but not to linen or towels. Pay attention to the routine for sorting and recycling of garbage which will apply during your stay at Lillsjödal.
The drinking water at Lillsjödal
Since Lillsjödal’s water contains a bit more fluoride than is allowed for a facility that is being rented out to guest, you’re only supposed to use the faucet in the kitchen marked with drinking water for this purpose.
Camp activities
It is possible to organise camps at Lillsjödal. For example schools, sporting clubs, scout troops etc. However, do note that the facility is not specifically adapted for disabled people. Hansen’s cabin is located 300 metres from the other buildings and can be used as accommodation space for the camp leaders. If you want to book the facility for more than seven days in a row, please contact us via lillsjodal (at) lus.lu.se or call +46 704-56 11 87.
Management
Lillsjödal is managed by the Lund university student unions’ association (LUS), a cooperative organisation for the different student unions at Lund University. At the top of the foundation is the board for which Lund University elects the president, LUS elects four board members, and LUGI elects two board members.
